  • When you arrive at my home your dog will be extremely excited and need to sniff the new environment. Please have your dog on leash when you arrive and once we are in the studio space, I will encourage the dog to run free so he/she can start to feel more comfortable. As we chat in, most dogs begin to relax, although these sessions are short, I work quickly to get to know your dog and get them used to my studio lights. Food is a motivator to help your dog be rewarded as they calm in the new environment. If your dog has any food allergies, I will ask you to bring your own treats, I also have plenty to keep them engaged.

  • Being in a new environment is a big ask for most dogs, I work to create a peaceful and safe environment for them to enjoy the space. Even dogs with lots of training, this can be a big ask of them. Photography and studio lighting allows us to create images in split seconds, combined with knowing your dogs body language, I am able to capture timeless photos.

  • Absolutely! Please let me know if you are planning to be in photos and how many people, so I can better prepare for your session.

  • Depending on the breed of your dog, it is not recommended to have a session right after their grooming appointment. Most groomers aim for shorter cuts, unless noted. I found it best to give some hair to grow in for a few weeks. Please feel free to discuss this during booking your session.

  • To give you an opportunity to create a holiday cheer, included are 5×7 sized digital files which are best for card making and small desk prints. You will be given the option to purchase higher resolution files or large prints if you choose to.
